The Customer:

With a grant from BC’s Ministry of Education, School District 10 contracted Charge Solar, for a feasibility study on how to reduce their GHG as part of the Carbon Neutral Capital Planning program. Three schools have had solar installed 105kW, with more projects in the design stage.

The Solution:

This solar project was led by the students and staff of School District 10. Charge Solar worked closely with the School District in all phases of the project, including the design, procurement, commissioning, and with the BC Hydro Net Metering administration. The students involved received PV training and gained valuable work experience while helping with the installation. System power output is monitored and the data used by the teaching staff to demonstrate the value of solar.
