The Customer:

Avenue Living has been making a strong push in the energy modernization of their properties, including Wyldewood Estates; which consists of 11 apartment buildings. The client wanted to reduce their overall energy consumption throughout these buildings.

The Solution:

Each building was fitted with ~25kW DC of solar to help offset energy consumption. Solar YYC took this project over from another solar contractor, which created a multitude of challenges. However, with support from Charge Solar, Solar YYC was able to change course and steer this project across the finish line on time and with minimal interruption to the residents. Each of the Solis 30K-LV inverters were de-rated to fit within the existing electrical infrastructure.
