When combined with the battery’s integrated heating pad, the insulation solution can support a battery cell temperature increase of up to 45°C above ambient temperature. Designed for seasonal use, the kit attaches securely around individual SigenStor battery packs and can be removed when warmer conditions return. Sigenergy specifies that the insulation must be removed when ambient temperatures consistently exceed 10°C to prevent excessive heat buildup and potential battery degradation.
