RT-MINI-BUTYL

The Roof Tech RT Mini Butyl (AlphaSeal™) is a proprietary flexible flashing and sealing pad designed to provide long-lasting waterproof protection for Roof Tech RT-MINI, RT-MINI II, and RT-APEX solar mounting systems. Manufactured from a premium butyl-based synthetic rubber copolymer, AlphaSeal™ creates a durable compression seal between the mounting base and roof surface, eliminating the need for traditional metal flashing in many solar rooftop applications. Engineered to be completely impermeable to moisture while maintaining exceptional flexibility, the material resists UV exposure, mildew, acids, alkalis, salts, and extreme temperature fluctuations from -40°F to 248°F. The RT Mini Butyl pad is commonly used as an additional sealing layer, replacement flashing component, or extra protection for complex rooftop installations. Compatible with asphalt shingle, metal, EPDM, TPO, SBS modified bitumen, and other sloped roofing systems, AlphaSeal™ helps solar installers achieve fast, reliable, and watertight solar mounting installations.
