The FranklinWH Split CT Kit is a monitoring accessory designed to enhance power flow metering accuracy within Franklin Home Power (FHP) energy storage systems. Intended for installations where solar PV systems or electrical sub-panels are wired in configurations that prevent the aGate’s internal CTs from properly measuring power flow, the Split CT Kit aggregates sub-panel or PV metering data directly into the FranklinWH ecosystem. Utilizing a non-contact magnetic-induced current sensing method, the Split CT safely converts high current into a low-level signal current for accurate monitoring without direct conductor contact. This approach improves installer safety while simplifying installation and commissioning. Rated for 200A current measurement with a 50 ft twisted-pair lead cable, the Split CT Kit is ideal for advanced residential solar + storage applications requiring line-side sub-panel metering or PV system metering integration.
