FER-2/0

The FER-2/0 (Panduit F89-32-L) is a non-insulated single-wire ferrule designed for 2/0 AWG (70 mm²) conductors. Its seamless barrel contains and manages individual strands of flexible cable, helping prevent broken or turned-back strands while providing a clean, secure termination. The ferrule simplifies insertion of large stranded conductors into compatible terminals and is well suited to electrical distribution panels, switchgear, motor control centres, and other high-current electrical applications. The FER-2/0 features a 32 mm ferrule length, providing the longer barrel option in Panduit’s F89 series for applications requiring additional termination length. Panduit specifies the CD-2001-F89 crimping die for 2/0 AWG F89 ferrules, compatible with its CT-2001 and CT-3001 tooling platforms.
